...Preschool Story Time Lesson Plans and Ideas with Christian Themes!
I developed Groovy Storytimes as a way of sharing, with you, my ideas and experiences in leading preschool Christian story times.
For a long time, the primary means of teaching biblical lessons or values to young children was through flannel graph boards and Bible story books.
Children enjoy popular picture books at their local public libraries, but there are Christian themes and biblical morals lurking in those books which children's librarians can not tap into.
I am a children's librarian by experience, and absolutely love children's picture books, so it was natural for me to combine these resources together into a new and relevant children's ministry.
It's my hope that you will be inspired to use these lessons and ideas to implement your own Christian preschool story hour in your church, library, preschool, homeschool, Sunday school, daycare, or other children's ministry.
